A base made of poly skin and lace usually last anywhere between 2-6 months on average before getting replaced. Hybrid MONO and poly skin bases will last anywhere from 4-6 months on average; those with mono in the middle and a poly perimeter around can last up to a year with proper care.

Hybrid hair systems are so-called because their bases are made from different materials, typically combined in various patterns to serve specific purposes. For example, if a client prioritizes an ultra-natural hairline but can't afford a full lace toupee, a lace front hair system would be the best choice. If your client prefers a strong hold and long-lasting wear, consider introducing a mono hair system with a wider PU perimeter.
